Warranty
All warranty claims must be handled directly through the manufacturer. Coverstar offers different warranty periods depending on the model and component:
- The mechanism of the Eclipse model is covered by a 20-year limited warranty, while models like the CS3000 are backed by a 10-year limited mechanism warranty
- Electrical components and aluminum extrusions typically carry a 3-year warranty.
Motors, for certain models, have a separate warranty—such as a 5-year motor warranty in some cases.
- Fabric components (like UltraGard III fabric) carry a fabric-specific warranty that may include full coverage for an initial period followed by prorated coverage (for example, a 6-year limited fabric warranty).
Exclusions and Conditions:
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to purchases made through authorized dealers.
- Claims must be submitted per the procedures outlined by Coverstar, which include timely notice and proof of purchase/installation.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, failure to maintain drainage or water chemistry, acts of God, or unauthorized parts or service is not covered.
